Where the original had an almost menacing vibe, Branch twangs it up and does that silly fake accent with an almost country lilt. I have heard her sing other songs, this accent is not legit but I suppose Mick would turn his Brit to Southern at times as well.

For those of you unfamiliar with the band I strongly suggest the introduction via the ‘Rake Song’. By far one of the best told musical stories. Melloy’s voice is outstanding and the overall mood sent over with such clarity that it will remain one of my all time favorite song.

Motown;The Musical will open at the Lunt-Fontanne Theatre on April 14, 2013. There ya go, its official and with no one swinging from the ceiling or being shot out of cannons we can be fairly confident the opening will not be delayed.

Killswitch Engage has been around since about 2000. No young guns that’s for sure and they have never been ‘soft’ or ‘compassionate’ They scream they yell and they blow shit up. They are bad ass rockers from Boston no less and we all know how hardcore that scene is.

Due out Oct. in both the U.K. and the U.S., the AA single will be released on CD and as a download with five live tracks as B-sides. This is pretty confusing since the A sides then become B sides yet its digital so there are no sides. I have no idea why the release is being announced in such obscure terms. Let’s simplify shall we?
