If you hate The Fray and Nickelback you'll hate this song. See below for the debut video from David Hudson. Now usually I wont bother with something I dislike from a newcomer. But this is awful generic music with that God awful rasp. So fake so manufactured that its like a slice of white bread. Bland unidentifiable and nothing good about it.
Music? Studio musicians and great production. Idiotic 'oh oh' back up vocals. Why am I bothering? David Hudson is Katy Perry's brother. What bothers me is that I know this and that this video is being introduced with the mention of that fact. David is riding on Katy's name. Now remember Katy's real last name is Hudson so at least he didn't call himself David Perry but he is in no way letting you not know that's his family.
The video is also cliche'. Black and white to color love story silliness so horrible that if I were Katy- Id pretend I dint know him. I swear this is so bad that it wouldn't get past the judges of American Idol and considering what has-that's a serious statement.
Look we all want to be as successful as our siblings. Totally normal, but in the entertainment industry its every dog for himself. If you have to use your sisters name to get a headline its best that you sort of just have a seat and maybe ask to be her assistant or something.
Please though, judge for yourself and tell me this song or this video would ever have been made if his sister hadn't kissed a girl and liked it. Nope.
