Jay Z "99 Problems" and Pearl Jam Is One

So here it is, the must buzzed about collaboration of the Made In America Festival.  Jay Z is a bit out of touch to try to do this tune in the first person.  Its always bugged me especially the cop pull over bit.  Jay Z is too old and too rich it sounds funny rather than sincere.  I like Jay Z he cracks me up on a regular basis but this is simple proof of what out of touch.

Which leads me to the perfect pairing. Pearl Jam. PJ was awesome.  They were innovative and creative and they had so much energy that it was exhausting to watch.  Now?  Not so much.  They earned the cash they got the hair cuts and again (as I have said a million times) Neil Young killed their cool

So lets pair them up shall we.  This  fan video is priceless.  Thank God for the cell phone video or we would never be able to share this.  I have to take a moment to point out how funny the begining is when the recorder is jostled so much you'd think the guy was getting mobbed and if I were the dude in front of him making fucking hand shapes Id be humiliated as hell.  That's a grown ass man making the illuminati, dude grow up and put your freakin hands down.

You cant judge the sound on these things and you can only take it as a joint venture.  Pearl Jam and Jay Z. This is fabulous Bassist, Jeff Ament,  looks awed and a bit nervous (that's a nice way of saying he looks like an absolute knob smiling at Jay Z like a fan boy on fire). The point of the collab besides the vibe, is the jarring guitar and bass lick after Hova shouts "Hit It". If you go back to the original, the break is a pause, maybe a hard one, with Pearl Jam it is a slamming against your head. It should be "hit me".Eddie? He's hiding.  Waiting for the next tune where he ONCE AGAIN sucks Neil Young.  Someone please break those two up.

The tune was fun- Jay Z is gettin' old.
