That right there could well be the most adorable quote I have ever read. The author? Marissa Paternoste, leader of Screaming Females. Apparently Marissa is quite the fan and really can you blame her? These Don Giovanni Records darlings have really made some impressive strides recently and are getting the notice they so deserve.
We know they have cool fans (besides us!) including the likes of Henry Rollins and Titus Andronicus but to get the exposure that touring with Garbage will provide is fantastically perfect. A guaranteed great even that you should not miss if at all possible. I do have one complaint though…..why are there no dates on the East Coast? Rarely do you get a chance to see two women leading powerful rock bands.
The band has just released a video for 'Leave It All Up To Me' a goth like zombie thriller that sends Paternoste on an interesting after life adventure. I love the feel of the video its fun enough but the music is true Screaming Female.
