This is the perfect start of summer concert to get you dancing and thinking happy thoughts. There is something about ska that just makes it impossible to be angry- no matter what the situation or the lyrics, its so happy and jaunty you just let it go. They should pump ska music in to prisons or something
Recorded at Bearded Lady Records in Flint, MI the duo belt out “The Best I Ever Had” while pressed up against a record bin. Stripped down to drum and acoustic guitar they take on a rock tune and pretty much kill it. I don’t mean in a good way either.

The slow thrust beat on this one was a fantastic pull up song. That is- you have your windows down and the ‘tape deck’ full blast so when you pull up to any destination you sound cool. How I love Warped and how I adore how they stay so cutting edge not only in the bands chosen but in their operating procedures. Warped Tour as a business is one of the best run operations I have encountered. They have it all figured out.
There were a boatload of people sad to see Van Halen cancel the duration of their summer tour. All those tailgate plans dashed with the swoop of a pen. After coming back to some rave reviews the hype machine has shows selling out in record time. Van Halen were back and they were killing it on stage.

I may not be a big fan of the new LP but I am still a very big fan of Garbage and want them to continue to perform and record. There really arent band out there that offer the same intelligent lyrics delivered with a disturbing edgy quality. I say we hold on to these guys as long as we can.
