No Doubt is finally going to perform live again and they're doing it for your kids. The Teen Choice Awards, the Clearsil fueled babble of what teens are supposed to like will air in July 22 on FOX.
. "I can't believe this is actually happening. The idea of playing our new music live is heaven on earth," singer Gwen Stefani said in a statement. "Can't wait to share it!" Added bassist Tony Kanal: "We're so stoked to finally start performing these new songs live. And to be doing the first performance of our first single in Los Angeles makes it even more awesome."
How will this band do with the teen set? They're older parents now- do they still have the ability to capture this particular market? I don't think so. After Gwens trips into ghetto fabulous she and her Harajuku girls were easily forgotten and now here clothing line is actually available at Target. Huh?
No Doubts new album is due out on September 25. Meanwhile they still battle it out with video game engineering firm Activevision for the avatars used in one of their games—seems you can modify those No Doubt band member in inappropriate ways, dang it, I'm sorry I missed that one.
