I am not sure how he manages to build these fetching songs, while using such unusual weirdness and what seems to be a distinct tuning, but he does!

People are sheep, this is why they are so easily fooled by political and religious ideas, they all follow the current tendency, and accept to like whatever they are fed with. There is no fat guy worth mentioning, no black guy worth mentioning, and Kristin Wiig is surreally annoying at least half of the time. The Absence – Melanie Gardot – If you get past the backstory (hit by car, months of rehab, hypersentive to light and noise), you can enjoy a stirringly beautiful pop chanteuse who moves in the jazzy realm of mid-period Joni Mitchell without the folk trappings – Grade: A-

Gary Barlow, Robbie Williams foil, is more of a UK phenom than any one this side of Cliff. It isn’t that Take That, or even solo, were all that bad given the genre. Essentially they are exactly what you think they are. It’s that Bieber hadn’t softened the terrain for them, the way he has for One Direction.
Lawson are a boy band, Rudimental ballad tech, and “RIP”? When are they gonna release it Stateside? It is the best song on this top ten. And, finally, Adele is OFF THE CHARTS!!

can just imagine them performing this tune live and having this be the crowd pleaser. It ties the song together and makes it totally unique. The way that the guitars, bass, and drums mesh together make me smile. It feels effortless but still makes an impression.
It has been 8 years since Smith released new material and I don’t think anyone has been chomping at the bit. She is a pillar of NYC village chic days gone by but the days have gone. She really is CBGBs only no one has shut her down.
It fits together uncomfortably and when I think of the album as a whole it seems to be very good not great but when I concentrate on specific moments in the whole it feels like the album of year.
