I was excited. I had a huge love for The Killers an found their lyrics to paint lovely pictures. But the high pitched warble vocals are more annoying then contagious. Is this the end of the band? Is this a swan song LP?
I adore this kid and from the first time he (literally) fell off his tour bus in Boston and threw his arms around me like I was his long lost mother at the Breathe Carolina show, I have had a soft spot for the little white rapper who oozes positivity like a pierced jello mold

Spotify has enhanced its service but entering the Android market and adding a free radio stream, that alone is worth the nod. The sound is fantastic a ska-like dance tune with Gwen offering up her own ‘hollah’ backing vocals. Way cool. No Doubt hasn’t aged- no doubt hasn’t changed a bit. They sound exactly the same and without any tweak or experimentation. The band is just back-right where they left off.
Recorded too late for inclusion on the ‘Rise and Fall of Ziggy Stardust and the Spiders From Mars’, it was considered for the following year’s ‘Aladdin Sane’, but never made it on to the final running order. It’s hard to imagine but in researching this oddity it appears to be true.
Need a job? The show is in casting and at present are looking for someone ot play a single actor who can take on three roles in the play, the pre-teen Barry Gordy, Little Stevie Wonder and the young Michael Jackson. Yeah, thats should be easy to find
Think about that for a moment. This band whose surviving members are knocking on age 70 will be performing an album they released 39 years ago. The album is a rock opera, a phrase no longer used which basically means a story telling album.

Having seen them live and hearing them recorded I can say with conviction, they were greater than they were ever given credit for. It is also a great thing that they ended abruptly. Bands like that should be flashes of greatness. It leaves a cleaner image
If you’re going to have a quirky accent don’t serve me a cliche’ slo-mo video. We have all waited a couple years for new material so this seems an even more weak offering. Well bands are more than the sum of their video presence.

Antonee First Class, the ‘Toaster’ adds a wonderful element. Not quite Wakelings straight man and not the flamboyance of former Beater Ranking Roger, I found him to be charismatic and ridiculously talented. I would have loved more movement from him but hey the stage was small.

C’mon their shelf life is brief and one slip up (yes pun intended) could have potentially screwed years of hard work
