I was excited. I had a huge love for The Killers an found their lyrics to paint lovely pictures. But the high pitched warble vocals are more annoying then contagious. Is this the end of the band? Is this a swan song LP?

I adore this kid and from the first time he (literally) fell off his tour bus in Boston and threw his arms around me like I was his long lost mother at the Breathe Carolina show, I have had a soft spot for the little white rapper who oozes positivity like a pierced jello mold

The sound is fantastic a ska-like dance tune with Gwen offering up her own ‘hollah’ backing vocals. Way cool. No Doubt hasn’t aged- no doubt hasn’t changed a bit. They sound exactly the same and without any tweak or experimentation. The band is just back-right where they left off.

Recorded too late for inclusion on the ‘Rise and Fall of Ziggy Stardust and the Spiders From Mars’, it was considered for the following year’s ‘Aladdin Sane’, but never made it on to the final running order. It’s hard to imagine but in researching this oddity it appears to be true.

Think about that for a moment. This band whose surviving members are knocking on age 70 will be performing an album they released 39 years ago. The album is a rock opera, a phrase no longer used which basically means a story telling album.

I didn’t even realize that Sting had an app but he does and he just improved it. Upgraded Sting. We joke about Bono being a tool but we really don’t give Sting enough credit for being an egotistical knob.

Coming off a ridiculously successful tour, the guys are finally getting the acknowledgement they deserve- but they deserve even more. We had the great honor of speaking with them at Warped Tour and it seems that since that time critical acclaim is headed their way.

Now of course he is quite financially secure so the strain there is not the issue but rather by donating he has fired up publicity for this outstanding organization. This could cause the ‘I wanna be like Eddie’ effect encouraging other musicians to do the same

Redneck rockers with makeup going nuts- all thats missing is the John Deere. The most amazing part is the jaw dropping line up these cartoon characters assemble.

“Dance this Mess Around” was so sexy and sultry and a proclamation to not being cheese “WHY WONT YOU DANCE WITH ME? IM NOT A LIMBURGER” poor dairy product. Fred is so hysterical in this with ‘the shy tuna’ and ‘do he hypocrite’, I had no idea he was gay.

Having seen them live and hearing them recorded I can say with conviction, they were greater than they were ever given credit for. It is also a great thing that they ended abruptly. Bands like that should be flashes of greatness. It leaves a cleaner image

If you’re going to have a quirky accent don’t serve me a cliche’ slo-mo video. We have all waited a couple years for new material so this seems an even more weak offering. Well bands are more than the sum of their video presence.

70’s easy listening love songs are no longer in fashion which may be the reason I simply adore Neil Diamond. Awake and exhausted they set out to ‘figure out the compound’ as if they were now prisoners of war. Apparently no one really knew what was going on as the press tent had yet to be constructed and even event staff had no idea that where or what that would be.

Devo’s documentary “Are We Not Men” seems a little too cult like niche but when it started its Kickstarter campaign it had a goal of $25,000.00, with more than 25 days left of their campaign they’re at $39,000.00.

I used to think this was the band of the future. I thought Alesana was the next big thing. I no longer feel that way. Bad management poor promotion and little to know real support.. its just a matter of time.

Well I suppose The Bangle girls took off and had kids and became soccer moms but Susanna is back with a solo offering titled “Someday’, what bugs me? Its being referred to as ‘intensely personal’, well if that’s the case keep it to yourself. What the heck is that all about?

I for one have no beef with it. New LCD would be welcome in my ears if it wasn’t lame of course. But wheres the credibility? Suddenly they’re going to be like the Eagles. Enough- either end it or don’t. Zombie bands are silly.

The tune is unimpressive, the lyrics pointless and the vocals so beautiful they send a chill up my spine. So how to judge? Weigh the good vs the bad? There really is no bad, there is mediocre and brilliant

Antonee First Class, the ‘Toaster’ adds a wonderful element. Not quite Wakelings straight man and not the flamboyance of former Beater Ranking Roger, I found him to be charismatic and ridiculously talented. I would have loved more movement from him but hey the stage was small.

The arrogant has been posted the below rant on Facebook and to be honest with you at this point in his career he should be happy anyone wants anything from him. At age 49 with his Elvis black died hair he should be thanking God he is recognized.
