2012 East Coast Tsunami Fest, Reading PA

Fest, Fest, Fest.. what exactly constitutes a 'fest' anyway?  I suppose its band sand booths right?  Have some people selling jewelry or churros and have 2 stages..boom Festival status.

Here is a quote listed on one of the announcement sites for this years 'East Coast Tsunami Fest'  "This thing is the equivalent to a county fair, aimed at aging, overweight dudes who can't get over the fact it's been 15 years since they were involved in a "good stompin' in tha pit!"  The author of this brilliant statement is 'anonymous', but I wish they would step up cuz I think that's a brilliant (and accurate) statement.

The line up so far?

Sick Of It All
Agnostic Front
Biohazard
One Life Crew
Strength For A Reason
Vehement Serenade
Animalhaus

The entire 3 day festival line up should be announced on July 30th but really if these were the 'teaser' bands.. I'm thinking we aren't going to flip our lids, though I could be wrong.  The event will take place on September 29 and 30 at Club Reverb in Reading, PA. Single day passes are $35, while weekend passes cost $60.

I love the idea of 'fests' and to be honest with you sometime the bands are secondary to the social aspect of the event.  This could be one of those cases but its a pretty Hardcore crew.. lotta teeth will be flying that's for sure.   I like the website for the event as well, check it out
