Lamb of God's Randy Blythe Still In Jail

Why is this not infuriating people yet? Better yet why do so many 'big media' people chose not to cover one of the most unjust legal  issues in rock and roll.  Is Lamb of God just not big enough?  Is it because he isn't dead?

In 2010 Lamb of God did a show in the Czech Republic a fan jumps on stage things get nuts.  The show ends, the band moves on and that's that.  2012 Lamb of God steps on to CR soil and their lead singer is taken in to custody at the airport for manslaughter.  Mind you he had never heard anything of this, had not been advised there was warrant or even knew anyone died.  It was just a stage melee'…now hes in a foreign prison.

Wait it gets better- so he posts the $200, 000. 00 bond.  Yet, he is still in jail because in Prague officials have up to 6 days to decide if they want to let you go- despite the pay off.  Yup.still there.

There is now controversy as the band has developed a defense fund for Blythe- are you serious?  Why would it not be ok to help defend him in a foreign and shady country?

“We are by no means requesting charity, nor are we demanding money from our fans.

“We have received dozens upon dozens of requests from supporters wanting to help in any way possible. This was a direct response to that, in order to give fans a voice in all of this – if they choose to do so.

“By no means are we trying to make a dime off this. We live for our fans and would never attempt to profit off them. This is purely a response to those that reached out wanting to help.

“Collectively we will bring Randy home. He is my brother and your brother, and more importantly, an innocent man being wrongfully detained.”

Make some noise on this one- its insanity!
An online White House petition has been created in support of Blythe’s legal battle. It aims to gather 25,000 signatures by the beginning of August and so far has pulled in over 2300.  There are only 3,000 as I write this.  Get going, anything is worth trying to help.
