Really, talk show hosts? Really? I am getting one day off from my advertising job and no days off from rock nyc, and what are the other half doing? They are getting two weeks of reruns. Not for nothing, but do some damn work. What the hell is this. If I was James Corden I would go out of my way to make sure I’m working. God save Conan, the only guy to wake up and do his job. A two week vacation… I dunno, man…
OMG OMG OMG, she ran to “Spark The Fire” launching into “Rich Girl” and “What You Waiting For?” from 2004’s Love. Angel. Music. Baby. and “Sweet Escape”, all the while strutting white girl style with her pet Asians.
To all these young kids who occasionally give me the weird look, I want to say, okay kid, my generation (and even the one before) invented punk rock, what did yours exactly come up with? EDM may be? I rest my case… or may be I am showing my age once again.

The newly built Tonight Show has that new car smell and state of the art feel, it is all zooming cameras and wood panels and for some reason the audience was gorgeous leggy 20 something girls, who you just know are off to Happy Hour next with a change of clothes in a bag on their shoulder.
His showing on Jimmy Fallon nearly sent me into cardiac arrest. Older and behind dark shades he performed a medley of “First Cut Is The Deepest” and “Wild World” accompanied by The Roots. First off The Roots need to chill, between this and their hanging out with Elvis Costello I’m getting a bit jealous
I don’t want to get sick of his shtick- and since its sorta predictable, its easy to get old really quick. So rather than shout out all the nifty things he’s done on the new improved and hipped up Tonight Show, I’ll periodically share something off the beaten path.
When you start off with Paul McCartney singing “Merry Little Christmas” you set yourself up for goals unheard of. Right down to the adorable snow.. and I DONT EVEN LIKE MCCARTNEY! The magic of Fallon just radiates.
But as if the North Star cleared the way a miracle happens at 30 Rock this December 21. A line up so perfect that for one day I will be sure to watch. Justin Timberlake and Jimmy Fallon. These two should just tour together.
