FIDLAR

Peter Hook & The Light are playing at The Theatre at Ace Hotel
Burgerama 4, Saturday March 28th 2015, Part 2
I thought for a minute I knew all the songs of Weezer, but I realized it was because the band may have played all its greatest hits… From ‘My Name is Jonas’ to ‘Hash Pipe’, ‘El Scorcho’, ‘Go Away’, ‘Island in the Sun’, ‘Beverly Hills’, ‘Say it Ain’t so’, ‘Pork and Beans’, ‘Undone’, ‘Buddy Holly’, yes it was a real crowd pleaser
Cherry Glazerr, Cheatahs, And Fidlar At the Echoplex, Thursday February 27th 2014
My whole body still hurts from what happened last night, I am much older than all these young kids, and standing in line for 3 hours then fighting the crazy moshing-jumping-pushing crowd inside the Echoplex was a bit too much, but it was well worth it

They Are All Big Now But We Got Them First
I am sure I am not only speaking for myself, but it seems to me that an awful number of bands we have covered in their early days, have now officially reached the success status
Listen To FIDLAR's Gentle Cover Of Elliott Smith's Whatever (Folk Song in C)’
They play the tune very gently, close to the way Elliott was playing it. Zac Carper takes his most fragile-broken-tired voice whereas the soothing guitars and beach-like noise in the background fit perfectly the melancholic, intimate and sweet ambiance of the song
FIDLAR At Artopia, Thursday May 16th 2013
New York (or New Jersey should I say?) has intellectual punk Titus Andronicus making all these references to Albert Camus and Shakespeare. Los Angeles has riotous punk FIDLAR making references to coke, weed, skates and cheap beers… Both bands are young and bring tons of punk energy to their shows but don’t seem to come from the same place… existentialism versus teenage boredom,
