Comment: Is Memorial Day any excuse for the music world to take the day off? A good question and my reply is simple enough…. apparently. This is it, more or less, for new releases? Where is everyone? June 2nd has a Tsunami of new sounds but getting there? I guess I’ll go with the Vaccines. The first single “Minimal Affection” is no “Post Break Up Sex” but it isn’t bad at all. Maybe it will be the goods. Actually, Rachel Grimes song (er, composition) earlier this year, “The Air In Time” is string based modern classical and really quite good.
