Helen Bach is off to see Morrissey tomorrow in Worcester and I am gonna be checking him out at MSG on Saturday night and between the two of us, let’s hope we get a setlist as good as his killer one in Philadelphia last Saturday.
With four songs more than his usual 16 limit, and only two by the Smiths, still, this has highlights a plenty. “Speedway”, “Sunday”, “Far Off Places” and, whether you love his new one or like me have serious doubts, plenty from World Peace Is None of Your Business.
There is a sense of today about the setlist, it is so deeply buried in the present and personally if I had my choice only two of these songs would be on the setlist and that is why, if nothing else at all, Mo goes his own way and does his own thing. Morrissey Is None Of My Business…
PS: the birthday cake baked by Helen is also none of my business…

3. Ganglord

5. Speedway

Iman, I remember when we saw him at Roseland. Great show! But the set list with only two Smiths songs is pretty disappointing affaor. Hope you and Helen enjoy!
