Gail Shea Smacks Morrissey With a Seal Hunt Bat

Morrissey has not played Canada since 2006 and with good reason. It’s all about the seal slaughter. It’s hard to believe we still bash the heads in of live animals to wear them but point is its someone’s job to do so and some of you assholes are actually doing the wearing- thus creating the demand. May you die similar deaths.
That being said the Canada’s Minister of Fisheries and Oceans, Gail Shea in a frantic motion to make us believe death for fashion is humane. She issued a statement directed towards Morrissey claiming he was a millionaire with a hobby (as if either of these things are a bad thing?)
She said that Morrissey’s words “reveal a total ignorance of the Canadian seal hunt.” The statement continued: Anyone who takes a careful look at the seal hunt will see that it is humane, sustainable, and well-regulated. In fact, the process used in the seal hunt was designed by international veterinary experts, and is the most stringent of any wild animal hunt in the world. This is clearly just another case of a millionaire celebrity, desperate for a hobby, shamelessly regurgitating misinformation and myths that fringe animal-rights groups have been pushing for years. In the future, I would urge Mr. Morrissey to consider the impact that his ignorant and inflammatory statements have on the livelihoods of thousands of hard-working men and women in rural communities.”
The ignorance in 2014 is amazing. Is anyone still buying in to this propaganda? Who the HELL WEARS SEALS if you are not part of a under developed country who lives in primitive ways..fucking cut it out what the hell is wrong with you?
