I had instantaneously liked his song ‘July’ of his previous album ‘the Year of Hibernation’ when I heard it for the first time, and the songs off his new album ‘Wondrous Bughouse’ are all dealing with a bigger, fuller, and bolder sound, which was totally well-served by the full band playing with him on stage.
What happens is, a JLo consort loses all credibility the moment she hooks out with them, and while they are together there is no way to regain credibility, but the moment you break up? You receive credibility times ten.
If I could go back in time a coupla days I wouldn’t buy a ticket, the moment has passed and the place to see Robin now is third on the bill at Jingle Ball, three songs and out. But since I was buying before I was seeing, I guess it is now a must see…

the number of bands playing there is overwhelming, once again I will have to make choices will be made and probably will regret to have missed certain bands, it’s unavoidable

I am not sure about this ridiculous comparison, although I certainly heard some Radioheadish moments here and there, but Alt-J’s pretty music had running-in-cascades-of-voices harmonies, a lot of almost-a-cappella moments, and was building dreamy-sleepy landscapes.
