Bret took some time out of his busy schedule to record a 2 min video on his stance against animal confinement and exploitation. PETA2 is lasso’ing every ‘celeb’ (a, b and c list) it can to spread its message. I say go for it, education is an important thing and animals have had it with humans bullshit- my hope is one day they rise up and rampage. Until they do we are stuck with things like this Brets vague and scripted offering.
PETA has really targeted the ‘alt’ kids with their heavy presence at Warped Tour as well as other music fests. Out there are teenagers with signs and stickers but I cant help but wonder how many of these kids are living the message. Granted its not easy to be a veg and if you live in a home where meat is served it becomes even more challenging. But again every little bit helps I dont know how many converts Bret will bring to the table but it is a nice way for him to do a public service (without guitar)
Are you still eating meat and going to the zoo and partaking in other barbaric practices? It’s time to shrug off your caveman ways. Consider going vegetarian. And remember, animals are not entertainment. Then again- neither is Bret.
