No need for wheelchair access with Sir Cliff, at age 73 he is as youthful as he was at 23. Dressed very stylish and in his Skinny jeans he danced and sang as if he were still a teenybopper, I felt like I was in the audience of a taping of “Top of the Pop”. Cliff was soft spoken and polite and his fans just loved him.
Lulu started her set with “Unchain My Heart by Ray Charles, she also sang “Oh Me Oh My”, “Bell Bottom Blues”, between songs she regaled us with the stories about Atlantic Records, Aretha Franklin, and many other performers from the golden age of rock.
The giant photos of Nick in his funky outfits and million dollar smile delighted the fans, but tender pictures of Valerie and Nick from their early days, really moved the audience and brought back some very fond memories. The music world has truly lost a legend and this was a great tribute.
Davy seemed to be a little stiff on stage when he performed some dance moves telling the audience that Axle Rose had stolen his dance moves and Justin Beiber had stolen his hair style which got a few laughs. Not so surprisingly at a spritely 66 years old.
His solo show featured an eclectic range of music from an unplugged two man acoustic performance at the beginning to his full band and the accompanying Dessoff Choir during the second half of the show
