“ I think I love you”? Oh yes David Cassidy, after all these years I still have a little crush on you and judging from your audience last night at BB Kings, so do many others.
The Partridge Family TV show made David a teenage pop idol in the 1970’s and over forty years later he still retains a loyal cadre of die-hard fans. We braved the cold last night in New York Times Square to see David and it was so worth it, although the show started off a little rocky with him forgetting some notes and being out of key he pulled it together and was still on his game!
One member of the audience threw her underwear on stage, which prompted David to say “Hey, I am not Tom Jones”. Yes David, Tom Jones you are not, but you still have women going wild for you. David treated his audience to some great songs and some interesting stories from his life growing up in NYC and Los Angeles.
David is still a great performer and interacts with his audience.
I enjoyed the show and if you get a chance to see him it’s well worth it
