I write more about KISS than any other band and I’m not even a fan. The reason being they must be the most heavily marketed act in the business. I literally cannot go a week without one of them insulting a band mate or pissing themselves. It’s brilliant that they can keep the camera on them, despite their long in the tooth appearance. Keep the dream alive man.
So how perfect is it that these cats are going to be parking their codpieces at that early bird buffet in Las Vegas? Yup, get the O2 tank and Metamucil cuz The Hard Rock Cafe music hall The Joint is keeping the guys for a 9 show residency. Is it a residency if its that limited? Apparently so- just a short residence I guess.
“What happens in Vegas will not stay in Vegas, not if we have anything to do with it. We intend to blow the roof off the Hard Rock Hotel & Casino,” Gene Simmons said in a press release.
Paul Stanley told USA Today, “Usually, going into a smaller venue means eliminating things.
“The great thing about going into The Joint, it gives us the opportunity to add. Much in the same way as a Broadway show, when you have a permanent installation, you’re not breaking down every night to travel. So we can do things we wouldn’t normally do.”
The Joints capacity is 3200 so yeah you should be able warm up your dinner when Gene blows fire. Its a weird scene man..I cant even picture it. November will be an interesting month.
