We have a winner in the most loved at Governors Ball, who had an overflowing and screaming with laughter audience as Weird Al put on a fat suit followed it with Men In black shades, then a handyman and finally a Red Hot Chili Pepper before strapping on his squeezebox for a Billy Joel.
The last time I saw the legendary musical comedian his pacing seemed a little off but today he simply nailed everything to the delight of kids not yet born when he started.
The great think about Al is as a parodist of modern pop, he is always on top of the zeitgeist, Lorde and the Doors live side by side.
A terrific and immensely pleasurable time especially since his last album was a # 1 hit. The best shouts for the terrific “White And Nerdy” but he could have gotten away with playing polkas on his accordion all night.
