How can you give up on a band that is so similar in sound that you cant point them out in an audio crowd?
The Maine is the staple of the alty teen scene. Not quite as sexy as Mayday Parade,not as much bravado as All Time Low. The Maine are the middle child. Not bad, not great. Bland, like white rice under veggies. Its just there.
Now I know quite a few hardcore The Maine fans, and they're pretty much the same. Not good not great not anything but white rice.
The big news is the unveiling of the new song "Don't Give Up On Us", a live video was offered up for us to size up. Its wonderful to know that the consistent mediocrity lives on! Yes, if there is one thing you can count on its the amazingly flat line buzz.
And say what you want but I have never seen a more uncomfortable dancing front man in my life other than Springsteen in the "Dancing In The Dark" video. The hipster 'Namaste" bow at the end just made this video all the more annoying.
