Suddenly it is 1982 again. It's Iggy and Sid and Hell and swaggering swag and not ghetto swag. The constant drumbeat and repetitive music whipped me right back to the seedy side of town. What a retro sounding single from The Fall.
Its a tough thing when you want to slag a band for sucking and they don't. When you want to be able to call a band a bunch of old has beens- and they pull off a miracle. Its disenchanting.
But fear not. Over on Spotify there is a trifecta of new stuff by The Fall and onyl "Laptop Dog'' makes it to my ears. The other, self indulgent psycho babble. The weed must have gotten thick in the studio or something cuz Lordy the other two songs suck horrifically.
Laptop Dog though, it was a fabulous mind screw into my youth.
