Ted Nugent, the outspoken musician has never had a problem voicing their opinion. Though not exactly popular thought nor even articulate- he has his right to babble just like I have the right to hate him from the core of my soul.
An avid hunter, there is no way Nugent wouldn’t be on my most hated list. His twisted political views and obnoxious delivery just solidifies my hatred of the “Wango Tango” trash. It seems I am not alone in my lack of appreciation for the man.
Currently on tour supporting a new album Mr Nugent seems ot be bumping in to cancelled gigs. The Emerald Queen Casino in WA is next in line to ‘thanks no thanks’ the Nuge.
“The first amendment gives people the right to free speech,” Lawrence W. LaPointe of the Puyallup Tribe, which runs the casino, said. “But I think racism is intolerable and not acceptable here. We’ve been getting lots of complaints from the community and other organizations. I don’t want to take away his right to say what he wants to say, but we don’t need it here.”
Restores my faith in humanity to see these cancellations! I guess these venues are cancelling him on the grounds that he is racists after he called President Obama a “subhuman mongrel”, hey its a start- he’s far worse than just a racist.
Id be slightly concerned if I were you- Nugent seems to be going off the deep end with paranoia stating there is an “army assigned to destroy Ted Nugent,” referring to “these sick, sick, stoned, hygiene-challenged Michael Moore fans. They call in and complain that I’m a racist, they claim I’m a pedophile, that I dodged the draft. They call all the promoters, they call all the venues, they call all my sponsors, every day.”
Perhaps its time for Ted Nugent to return to his barbed wire contained compound and prepare for doomsday- he does seem to be a perfect candidate for a reality TV show.
