Taylor Swift is rich, very rich, but she should get her head out her own ass sometimes. This sounds vulgar but her last move finds me hesitating between funny or plain ridiculously self-centered.
I explain: Swift has bought a huge $17 M beachfront house in Rhode Island a little while ago, because she wanted to stay close to her then-boyfriend Connor Kennedy. Of course, it didn’t last long but this is not the problem here. Some signs erected around the house have recently attracted the attention for a good reason, they literally quote the lyrics of her song ‘Trouble’:
‘I knew you were trouble when you walked in, NO TRESPASSING’ read the signs.
Locals haven’t exactly received her with open arms as there have been some complaints about her security team bothering beachgoers. Her property line is at the path to the public beach and, according to locals, her security guards are always patrolling the area. A swimmer was even arrested for being too close to the shoreline of her private beach in May! She wants her privacy, we get it, but doesn’t she go too far?
She is a huge celebrity and her presence in the neighborhood can’t obviously go unnoticed, so what was she expecting? Radar online is also reporting that a local, who made a fun tee shirt welcoming her in town was subsequently ‘intimidated’ by her team and pressured into discontinuing the shirt.
She just had a big 4th of July party at her beachhouse, and these signs are her last move. Some of you may find them funny, I find them arrogant and once again bringing the attention on the fact that, she is there and the world should acknowledge… Plus these dating jokes are getting very old by now.
Who does she think she is? Is she that proud of her cheesy lyrics? Anyway, if she wants total privacy, she should buy a private island and leave this town alone.
