I have mixed emotions on this so sit tight while I sort it out. Paris Jackson the beautiful child of Michael Jackson had a slight suicide scare and has reportedly has a dark side exhibited on her Tumblr. Tumblr, is one of the most dangerous websites on the net. I don’t know one teenager who hasn’t been sucked in to its web-and its a huge web.
Tumblr, an online blog is a series of images and ‘gifs’ that flash and taunt and you follow people with like interests and they follow. Innocent right? No. So much deception and shaded anonymity it has been the culprit of many problems. One of the best statements Ive ever heard was “I was gonna go make a new Tumblr- but Tumblr makes me sad’. Sad because everyone there is trying to be something they are not. “Tumblr’ girls with their dip dyed hair and high waisted shorts are the thinspiration for so much drama…its an illusion. Paris used hers to exhibit her darker more dangerous side- it was discovered and considered a cry for help. I wish more kids pages were discovered.
But not everyone is a Jackson. So when she was admitted for ‘self harm’ which btw is another sub catagory on Tumblr well the press was all over it. Paris tried to kill herself with a meat cleaver and some pain pills- not exactly a sure thing method but it landed her in psych care and she and her suddenly involved mother Deborah Rowe, wanted her out of Los Angeles. Problem now? No one wants her.
According to TMZ:
“Our sources say the facility has turned thumbs down on the request, because honchos at the rehab place fear photogs will go crazy and take pictures of not only Paris but other patients at the facility,” the website writes.
Little girl lost is not little girl unwanted. I can see the point of the facility but I can also see the point of wanting out of California. Its a sad situation when you cant even get help because of who you are. How long will she last? At age 15, she seems the most public victim of Michael Jacksons legacy.
