'The Endless River', A New Pink Floyd Album This Fall?

There are many ways to announce the release of a new album these days, some artists don’t even announce it anywhere and drop it overnight on iTunes, but the Twitter method was not Pink Floyd’s management’s first choice as they were not thrilled about the way she broke the news.

At the moment you can stream just about everything Pink Floyd have ever released though the Led Zep availability is still in its infancy, only the first four albums are up and, oddly enough, with “Immigrant Song”, “Since I’ve Been Loving You”, “Black Dog”, “Immigrant Song”, “Stairway To Heaven”, and “Misty Mountain Hop” missing.

The greatest playwright of the 20th century writes a radio play incorporating elements of Dark Side Of The Moon. Voices by the likes of Bill Nighy and Rufus Selwell who act out thought experiments (like the sort you learnt in ethics class back at college, over the album played with most of the vocals removed in celebration of its 40th Anniversary. So where’s “Money”, eh? – B+
