Mutineers – David Gray – Joined by the bloke from Lamb (a great band in their own right) , this is a beautiful, slightly muted collection of singer songwriter songs like Elbow without the quirk and also without the anthem. Another great album by Gray that should buy him a larger than cult audience but probably won’t – ALBUM OF THE WEEK – A-
“The Solipsist Awards” is so pointed it almost mocks its very reason for being and so accurate somebody should show it to the E Street Band. Awards are gratifying but there are too many of them. They are a barrage of feelgood.
What’s the point in living in New York City if you aren’t gonna go to Film Festivals. And better this that our two or three biggies which are getting a little bit up there, right? They have the strength but we have the numbers.
It is screening at Tribeca Screen 2 on November 8th at 6pm along with other other shorts and tickets go on sale October 7th, 2013 here. I’ll be there for sure so why don’t you pick up a ticket and see us there. it will be an experience you won’t quickly forget.
