Do Not Disturb – Teyana Taylor – A little ordinary but truly soulful – B

Stay Awhile – She & Him – The thing about tackling Dusty springfield with a 20 piece orchestra behind you is if he isn’t terrible then it must be good because this enormously tedious duo are honor bound to screw it up, but this is an effective version  – B

Hunger – Sam Sure – Tron singer songwriter from London is pretty good enough – B-

Sisters – Radical face – Lo fi piano bedsit snoozer – C+

Alone – Nicki Minaj – With Dreey and Weezy, who have never fucked her it says here – B

On The Fence – Milo Greene – L.A. So Cal folkieness with a stronger than usual beat – B-

Drown – Marika hackman – quietly moving  singer songwriter – B

Jump Hi – Lion babe – That sample? Nina Simone – B+

Open fire – Kate Boy – More DJ produced pop from sweden – B-

I Bet My Life – Imagine Dragons – sounds folkie – B+

Beg For It – Iggy Azalea – Pretty good Iggy as usual – B

The Feast And The Famine – Foo Fighters – With taylor singing lead they are even worse – D

Soledad – Don Omar – Sounds like standard issue ssalsa – B

Open Wide – Calvin Harris, Big Sean – OH GOD… a goodie off an excellent  album (currently streaming on ITubes by the way) – B+

Wrong – The Airborne Toxic Event – Rock ordinaire – C-
