Side 3, Pt. 4: Allons-y (1) – Pink Floyd – Instrumental that doesn’t allons-y anywhere – C+

The Medicine – The 1975 – what have these guys learnt in the past thee years? How to take it slower and moodier. A beautiful number – B+

Loverchild – Rebecca Clements – Rumor has it there is an industrial complex near Brighton where they spit out soulful English girls who give depth to EDM beats – B

The Never (Featuring LV Baby) – Pell – From new Orleans, 21 year old Pell has made a sound called Dream rap whhere he ads rap to singalong New Orleans sing songs and it is absolute terrific… this is the real deal and once the new album comes out this guy should chart. catchy as hell, terrific as can be – A

Blood – Osca – Not unpleasant piano ballad by UK newbie – B

10,000 Summers – No Devotion – Changing their name to Lost Prophets for obvious reasons, this is pretty good alt rock plus it isn’t their fault and they deserve a chance – B

Girl In A Country Song – Maddie & Tae – Country blues rocker takes on being the girl in bro country and beats the bros with a guitar – A-

A Little More – Kaskade – In the middle of the EDM road – C

Sledgehammer – Fifth harmony – Next – C

Bored In The USA – Father John Misty – Don’t make boring piano singer songwriter stuff with the name bored in the title – C

Make You Better – The decemberists – Some people like this band, just saying – C

The Greatest Bastard – Damian Rice – wake me up when it’s over – C

Dead Air – CHVRCHES – Ordinary but interesting mix and match, first post success  song via Mockingjay – B

Drown – Bring Me The Horizon – Thumping good ordinary but loses its way before you get to the “I’ve got a hole in my soul going deeper and deeper”. Just because it’s a cliche doesn’t make it true – C+

Push (feat Andrew Wyatt) – A-Trak – The Miike Snow singer adds his voice to this excellent riff  Motownish soul EDM – B+

The wolfpack – Angels And Airwaves – The draggy Blink 182 offshoot still is the definition of mainstream rock – C-
