‘Cilla has always been a bit of a princess. Her only true accomplishment in life was marrying Elvis Presley and having his kid. If not for that event she’d be a Midwest housewife with bad hair and a cheap wine addiction.
But the king liked the young ones so she scored the gig and despite dumping him she still has control over the dead legends estate and gets that monthly check. To me it should 100% belong to Lisa Marie but hey I’m not a Presley so what should I care.
This latest blast of nonsense is Priscilla posturing again this time in the most crass way by telling fans to ‘calm down’. Whoops Facebook is a pesky thing forcing some peoples true colors to show. Seems the 2 planes on the Graceland property are about to get removed by the owner. The Lisa Marie and The Hound Dog could well be on their way out and the fans are worried.
For the record Elvis fans of that level are really pretty scary. Obsessed isn’t a strong enough word. But apparently the plane transaction is still in the work- thus the ‘calm down’ comment. Presley went on to say
“I’m reading what you are saying, but listen, the people who own the plane put the release out to intentionally upset everyone. We’re on top of it. Thank you for your trust in us. We will soon be putting out a release about some new and exciting things happening at Graceland.”
Meanwhile, Elvis Presley Enterprises and OKC Partnership are embroiled in a lawsuit filed May 27 in Shelby County Chancery Court over a dispute about how tickets to the airplane exhibit are sold. Currently its the ‘bundle’ with mansion, grounds, planes etc in tiered value
The pricing for the packages change with the attractions you choose, $37, $42 and $72 for adults, according to Graceland’s website. A ticket for the self-guided airplane tour and the “‘68 Special” attraction, featuring an interactive video experience about Elvis’ December 1968 televised event, is currently $12.
See the problem? The plane owners want more coin and the Elvis Presley Enterprises want it all. Take the planes off the grounds put them in another area and create an attraction around it. Screw EPE.
