You know Naughty Boy, right? Shahid Khan, also from Pakistani extract, who went from working at Dominos Pizza to being a hugely in demand producer in the UK after his work with Emeli Sande (not to mention Sam Smith) sent him into the stratosphere. Nauboy Boy’s first album, Hotel Cabana, was a goodie and if this demo of “I Won’t Mind” is anything to go by, his work with former One Direction’s vocalist Zayn Malik should be a huge hit. Only a demo, just an acoustic guitar and Zayn, but it is gorgeous and more power to him.
Impossibly lovely and gentle, a lost love track with Zayns lovely voice, 1D will really miss his impossibly beautiful voice and if he continues working with the truly gifted Khan, this could prove a great collaboration, while adding a touch of credence to what I was writing yesterday about Pakistan and the UK. It certainly doesn’t feel like coincidence that the only dark complexion in 1D is now gone.
Still, what was all that crap about just wanting to be a normal 22 year old? Just that, it was bullshit. All that I didn’t want to let the fans down stuff, all that I want a normal life? All nonsense. The little liar just wanted a solo career and he will get one as well, And he deserves it, this is a great song, it is gonna help lead him right into act II
