Well, we’ve got some bad news.
Morrissey’s entire US tour has been cancelled. It is absolutely crushing, but this was posted on the Morrissey Official Facebook page:
“It is with great sadness that the remainder of the US Tour has been cancelled. The respiratory infection Morrissey contracted in Miami has worsened, and in the interest of making a full recovery, all further touring plans have been halted. Morrissey thanks his fans for their compassion, understanding, and well-wishes during this difficult period as he recuperates.”
Fans have commented everything ranging from “feel better we love you” to “every fucking time? this is why i’ll never buy tickets”. I understand everyone’s frustration but might I just say- I saw him at his last show of the tour. And that’s pretty damn relieving. Us Boston attendees were really lucky to catch him on his last show, and with him being as happy as he was.
Stop me if you think that you’ve heard this one before…
