Yeah, I went with my buddy and fellow Python enthusiast, and while we didn’t laugh, the jokes are less like jokes and more like songs, all timing and hooks, it was pleasure to hear them live.
Of course we won’t be going to London to see Monty Python them one last time before they take their terminal breathe and what I might add is that listening to the Matching Tie And Handkerchief is actually very funny. A contradiction: except it is all deep album tracks you probably haven’t heard in decades. Try the Cheese Emporium, a firm favorite with a line, “shut that bloody bouzouki up” that entered my vernacular decades ago.
