The Swedish singer who came to the world’s attention with an Avicii song and is right near the top of the charts for the rest of the summer with the Major Lazer joint “Lean On”, has a remarkable voice.
On stage she is a dynamic if minor player for now, moving well, singing very well, and keeping the audience interested with her soul inflected vices and pixieish good looks and good humor. “Lean On” got the biggest roar of her afternoon I’m guessing and I say guessing because I was on to the next one. Mo did herself few favors but less harm.
