This is by far the best news I have had all week. I have wanted to see Manson perform live forever and this April I get my big chance. The Born Villain Tour is sure to be a theatrical dream come true, and the mid sized venues make it all the creepier. The information I gathered off Spin's website is a bit unnerving. They are listing an April 27th show in Rhode Island that I would snag in a heartbeat- yet the venue and Mansons own site arent showing this date. Perhaps they haven't updated yet but I would like them to please do so now so I can get tickets and start getting excited for the show.
The shows will be his first U.S. dates with new drummer Jason Sutter, who replaced Chris Vrenna in November. The last time Manson toured he was supporting 2009's The High End of Low. That's a long time and many pounds ago. I don't know if Manson has returned to fighting size but lets hope he has, things got a bit wide for a bit there.
More than this is the fact that I want that Rhode Island show confirmed like right this minute, please. And why cant I even watch the Born Villian video on his site anymore? Oh the injustice of it all.
Despite all of this I am VERY excited and VERY hopeful that I will see the freak in a couple months Stay tuned… PS and no New York?
