Once again Madonna is in the news, making history with the largest day of pre-orders ever for her upcoming album ‘MDNA’.
This was announced by her label Interscope, with a message from Madonna herself: ‘Thanks for all the L-U-V!! from around the world.’
'MDNA', Madonna’s 12th album, will be only be out on March 26th, but is already number one in the pre-order charts on iTunes in 50 countries across the world.
How is this possible? People were that impressed by this ‘Give me All Your Luvin’’ totally mediocre song? And if we consider that artists release in general their best one as a single, the rest is gonna be even worst. Of course Madonna’s fever is high because of her Super Bowl performance.
The only thing I can admire in Madonna is the way she leads her career, she does a promo super-performance to launch a mega world tour and trigger a record album sale. You see, MDNA may be a play of word with ecstasy’s real name, but it is the closest Madonna gets to drugs, otherwise she is in total control of the situation.
