You know how couples who have been married for years, look deeply at the article of their faith and can only see the Prince of Love they fell for some 30 years earlier? well, that’s what happens with pop idols so while David Cassidy might be a 64 year old chips and scampi circuit nostalgia merchant with one too many DUIs on his record, at BB King’s on Saturday night he will be KEITH PARTRIDGE and a lot of middle aged women (and one middle aged man who should know better) will think we love him!

Friday – the Bottom Dollars – Bowery Ballroom – I haven’t seen this great rock band in a coupla years and hey, they’ve graduated to Bowery Ballroom so goo for them.
Friday – Billy Joel – Madison Square Garden – Third time in a year and a week so I must like him
Friday – Y.G. – Best Buy – A little obvious but as good as gangsta gets nowadays
