The Fun Rises, The Fun Sets – Van Hunt – Big time new r&b guy straddles the line between experimental and pop but fun? Not really – B+

The Exchange – Torres – Lo fi singer songwriter lone acoustic strum, highly buzzed but I can’t hear it – C+

Eternal In Darkness – Six Foot Under – Wow, this is nothing – C

I Can’t Imagine – Shelby Lynne – The title track is a winding country track, sweet and soulful but not quite stronge enough – B

Hirami – Rose Windows – Americana, a little dozy but not as bad as their group picture might have you believe.. In has the dreamy tiredness of tasteful Americana, too tasteful, so middleclass and  so make of it what you choose – C+

In The Woods – Prison Penguins – This is bland disco, I kinda liked the album but now I’m rethinking – C

English Tongue – Palma Violet – Nice, ringing guitar, good ending to a nothing much album – B+

2K – Nosaj Thing – Another album that hasn’t lasted a week, there isn’t enough to hang on to – C

Only Memories Remain – My Morning Jacket – Actually, not even memories remain. I hope they get the point, they need to write better songs – C-

Hot Gates – Mumford And Son – Jesus, please… this is the dreariest piece of crap they’ve ever released – D+

vii) Circle – Mikal Cronin – Nicely arranged, the song ain’t much – B-

Kicking A Can Of Worms – Metz – I really don’t think much of this album, drone punk… meh – C

Come Upstairs – Mac McCaughan – Not bad, love the sound, I worship Mac’s voice, the song isn’t good enough. I know, that’s all I’ve said today – B

Life We Know – Django Django – Nice beat – C+

You Will Stay With Me – Hannah Miller – Wanna bet? – C

Destiny – Emika – If Ava, the robot from “Ex Machina”, made an album, it would be this – C+

Sometimes I Cry – Chris Stapleton – I loved the album because, well, because it had good songs. This isn’t one – C

California Nights – Best Coast – I’ve been listening to the album for two weeks now and I still love it. This waits for you at the end – B+
