A Thousand Times – Twin River – Alt rockers from Vancouver and I wasn’t crazy about em at first but this is a a nice little rocker with good distorted vocal and a neat organ break – B+
King Of The Blues – Steve Earle – well, it is certainly blues. King is another matter – C-
Secret Pilot – Sonny And The Sunsets – Oh dear, a weirdo indeed on this strange little piece of paranoia? Actually, I’m not sure what his problem is – B-
The Perfect Timing – Nedelle Toressi – Piano only follows a little heartbreaker to end the album – B
Boys Are Cunts – Mourn – Yeah, what’s your point? – B
Pulls You Under – Kate Pierson – A low key ending to a fine album – B-
Matches – Letts – Another goodie, the intro is a little too dramatic but the song signifies – B
The Fall – Imagine Dragon – with an intro that recalls “Baba O’Riley” leading the way, the band gets their Who before veering right into a mainstream pop rocker, what I’m trying to say is: its good –
Ibeyi (Outro) – Ibeyi – It is cool to be 20 years olf, I know, I remember, but it wasn’t cool enough to like this for age reasons – C+
All That Matters – Estelle – Estelle left the best for last, on this gorgeous piano ballad all on the off beat, like rap but not – A-
