Last time i saw West on stage was last week at the Snoop gig but the time before that was a full concert and Kendrick was opening for him and last time I saw Rihanna she was opening for Eminem, so this will be something of an upgrade all around: the Rihanna and West show which opens in Estonia (???) in July (according to Consequence Of Sound here)and should be here at some time or the other this summer. Big enough to fill Yankee Stadium, maybe, big enough to fill Metlife… nah, I don’t see it myself.
ReeRee plays up to the competition, the only time I’ve seen her put on a good show was opening for young Eminem, where she was forced to raise her game through the roof and here is an idea if they wanna play Stadium, why not invite McCartney? Imagine that for a second, Paulie can do an hour in the middle and blow the youngsters minds.
Till then, this could sell out any Arena you care to mention, maybe they could do a coupla days at MSG, barclay like that.
The show of the summer season? The duo are too much regulars on the scene to be the shock of the new but that notwithstanding, if not this then what?
PS: West is executive producer on the new Rihanna album… personally, I think she should have used Calvis harris.
