Tomorrow Never Comes – The Zac Brown Band – If they had a banjo they’d sound like Mumford ANd Sons (I mean old Mumford And Sons), instead they sound like what they also do: smug schmucks. That is the beauty in life’s mystery – D+

Worst Enemy – Raekwon – Experimental  track with a disruptive start before it morphs into business as usual, but still, that hook is pretty good and Raekwon has a great voice – B

Who Can Say – The Young Novelists – Strummy singalong verses, nice bridge, the chorus could be stronger – B

Why We Live Here – Tyler Farr – Not as bad as you thought it was, I find it hard to agree with a man who has a gun and a bible near his bed -neither of which I would touch with a ten foot pole  but some stuff works conceptually and this does. Plus it sounds good… ps I knew he’d get to the beer eventually – B+

This Planet Earth – Todd Rundgren – “There is no other place in the universe…” Wonderful, thanks Todd for insuring us we are all on our own – C+

El Dorado – Sam Cohen – If this song was any slower it would stop – C

Western – Odessa – Instrrumental to end the album – C

Run – Nick Catchdubs – A lullaby of a back out – B+

Believe In John – Millencolin – Yes, that John – B+

Cross The River On Your Own – Mew – Melancholy noise merchants, by the time they get to the point you’ve moved on… get these guys an editor – C+

The Overpass – Gang Of Youth – Why is last call always so fucking slow – C

Mirrorball – Blur – Everybody in line to give Blur a blowjob, should give this piece of crap a spin – C-

Left – American Wrestler – Bummer but it builds  – B-
