Spirited Away – Simple Minds – One of the most pleasant surprises of the year, this last track answers a question: “I’m not a complicated man, I’m as simple as can be” – A-

Brimstone – Rick Ross, BIG KRIT – when they get the billionaire status tey gonna sit and eat fish dinners – B

We Are One (Ola Ola) – Pitbull – Hmmm, this doesn’t work as well as it needs to, if Shakira’s FIFA triumph is the yardstick, this ain’t coming close – B-

Soldier’s Don’t Back Down – Idris Elba – world Music via South Africa, you expect Paul Simon to interrupt any second and claim copyright infringement, but this is the way African soul should sound. great chorus: simple but it gets you there – B+

Maybe – Faith Evans – Not unamusing in context, Faith has just got through an album detailing the life of a romance, and it is over, and she starts it up again – B+

Dangerous (Feat Sam Martin) – Robin Schulz  Remix -Apparently, they’ve heard of Clean Bandit – B+

O – Live At Royce Hall, London – Coldplay – what’s the f=difference between this and the album version? About 15 seconds -B-

Catalina – Bella Novella – This starts slow but ends up a punch wench of a song – B
