Crazy Weather – Kevin Jenkins – If Kevin’s sophomore album is all quiet fury, this closer is loud anger, a ransacked guitar based quasi-Hendrix blues soul out, it sounds like everything is going out of control – B+

Working Song – Tove Styke – The last song on the album where people try to expand from the base with an even snappier dance synth beat – B

Black Butterfly – Tamia – A lovely image well presented – B

Love Reign O’er Me – Pete Townshend – And you thought Daltry overdid it – A

Drones – Muse – A sort  depressing hymnal to end the proceedings. Hey, better than the guitar stuff  – B-

Melting Down – J Fernandez – This is the real drone, but it is the one place this lo fi psychedelic guy seems to break through his wall of sound – B+

Singapore – Gilbert O’Sullivan – Pure Gilbert, a nursery rhyme love song – B

Where I’m Going – A Thousand Horses – Yucky, quasi-Americana drag through the wild meadows, this ain’t happening – C

A Violent Death – FSS – This basically sucks – D

Bring Back The Summer – Ash – Really, great title but they forgot the song. This is the third dog with summer in its name in a row. You need to do more than evoke the Beach Boys, you know – C

Jordan Fade – Cousin Stizz – By around here you can’t help but hope he has more than this up his sleeve – B-
