Jimmy Page and Robert Plant Scuffle On Led Zep Reunion talks

Why?  Why would anyone want a Led Zeppelin reunion?  Do you really think they can recreate the glory days?  These are the times I wished that artists ceased to live.  When the ego is so big it loses all sort of rational its when you wish the angel of ration would bitch slap them.

The kids would love it of course.  From the cheap seats you wouldn’t see the human decay going on.  With technical advances the aged sound can be corrected and whoa nelly the cash would pour in like the Hoover Dam sprung a leak.  The critics would pan it, the teenaged boys would be ‘jazzed’ and  the original fans would need to double up on the cholesterol meds from all the cheese.

But apparently it aint happening.  Jimmy Page seems the most vocal but then again he’s out there plugging himself like a classic rock informercial.  Blaming Robert Plant the quotes fly like bitches at the nursing home.

“I was told last year that Robert Plant said he is doing nothing in 2014, and what do the other two guys think?,” explains Page as he promotes the upcoming expanded reissues of Led Zeppelin’s first three albums next month. “Well, he knows what the other guys think. Everyone would love to play more concerts for the band. He’s just playing games, and I’m fed up with it, to be honest with you. I don’t sing, so I can’t do much about it. It just looks so unlikely, doesn’t it?”

and this nonsense from Plant

“You know, the two other guys (Jimmy Page and John Paul Jones) are both Capricorns and they keep schtum (quiet); they don’t say a word,”Plant told reporter Tara Brown. “But they are quite contained in their own worlds and they just leave it to me to do this (interviews).”

“…to be the bad guy?”, asked Brown. “I’m not the bad guy,” replied the singer. “Well you are for all those Led Zeppelin fans who’d love you to say ‘yes, we’re reforming’,” she challenged. “Well, then you need to speak to the Capricorns … ‘cause I’ve got nothing to do in 2014,”answered Plant.

Guys.. just dont.  Please, just protect your legend.  The box set is the catalyst for all this crap- just get the vinyl fire up the bong and shut up.
