This week I throw away my iPhone and leave the Apple world behind. Much to the dismay of those around me who basically suck the core of anything Apple does like five dollar hookers. I think one of the reason Im leaving it behind is simply because Ive had it with the whole ‘hip’ scene.
But now I have another reason for ditching the brand…….this commercial. Good Lord how I hate the Pixies, so I would like to thank them for having their music included in the latest ad campaign, it seals the deal.
To show you how misguided and how Apple knows youre a sheep following them, the song ‘Gigantic’ is being sung but a group of adorable hip city kids. Adorbz right?! Yeah annoying in its original form add kids voices and Im puking in my handbag. But wait does Apple realize some of you are hip enough to know that Gigantic is referencing a black mans dick? The lyrics feature the line, “What a big black mass / What a hunk of love“, and the words “Gigantic, a big, big love” are repeated throughout the chorus.
YES! So basically iPhones are just penis envy. Apple’s page for the commercial also states: “You have the power to create, shape, and share your life. It’s right there in your hand.” Indeed!
Now there is nothing at all wrong with any mans junk but the young girl singing it really should have been clued in- but hey- too hip is hip right?
