We All Fall Down (featuring Jamie Lidell) – A-Trak – I love A-Trak and I worship electronica King Lidell, but this is a very obvious Michael Jackson rip – C+
Confident – Demi Lovato – It is no “Cool For The Summer” but as far as self-help self love anthems go, this is the place to be and as far as Demi goes, this is a power hard hitting blast of energy and she goes two for two on what promises to be a huge album for her – B
Jaded – Disclosure – Minor and the better for it, swirling synths, 4 on the floor, middling disco to house and back – B
On My Mind – Ellie Goulding – Minor EDM disco dance track – C+
RGF Island – Fetty Wap – Heavy duty hip hop ballad -this is where Fetty moves on from one hit wonderdom with a full on ballad -all dark and deep and autotuned on the bottom with a hook Fetty never lets go of- B
Money – Five Seconds Of Summer – I wish they’d release the damn album so I’m not stuck reviewing these tedious bubblegum punk tracks – C
Till It Happens To You – Lady Gaga – If Gaga wants to help women not getting raped on cmpus, recommend they play this at full blast whenever a man approaches them – D
Runnin’ (Lose It All) – Naughty Boy, Beyonce, Arrow Benjamin –Â Whatever you might think of Beyonce, she has exquisite taste in collaborators and they don’t get much better than Naughty Boy. The master producer already has a track record and anybody who heard his Zayn Malik track from earlier this year can only pray they work together on Zayn’s solo comeback. Till then, this is a high falutin’ ballad with Bey tackling the hook like a real pro, absolutely giving over to it, will do fine. Arrow, who handles a verse like a pro, I have never heard of but we all will after this – B+
Plastic – New Order – Are these guys luddites? Take your synth and stuff it – C-
We The Generation – Rudimental, Mahalia – You won’t get Rudimental till you’ve seen em live, but till then, this calypso dance track with a fabulous lead vocal from Mahalia will do very very nicely – B+
