You may recall awhile back that every five minutes Bret Michaels was dying. He had brain anurisms he had blood infections and basically he was in the news so much for assorted death watches that it became a joke. Look if you’re gonna croak just do it already.
Some of you may know and even less of you may care that Bret is a massive diabetic. He has been out their preaching (when he’s not dying of course) and fundraising for research dollars at every moment he gets.
Well apparently the disease decided to make a guest appearance at one of his shows in New Hampshire this week, forcing him to bail out of the act mid tune.
The mic was tossed to Pete Everick, the guitarist in Michaels band.
“This is a message I never imagined I’d have to post. Tonight in Manchester, NH, three songs into the set Bret had me sing a song as he rushed off stage. In the nine years I’ve stood next to him, I’ve never seen a look like the one on his face as if I was a complete stranger. One of the crew returned instantly to notify me that Bret’s blood sugar was extremely low.”
“As you all know he is a health fanatic and fiercely monitors his blood sugar,” Evick said. “He basically had to be dragged off the stage in his sickest of conditions. When I rushed to the bus he could barely speak, but begged me to apologize to the fans and seemed only concerned for them.”
“As we all know…” that line cracks me up. Anyway he’s not dead- suppose he’s getting medical attention and all that jazz.
