My buddy Phil Tanner, a great musician in his own right, was at yesterday’s Blur concert, the one I couldn’t get a ticket too for love nor money, and claims they murdered it. I believe him though by reckoning only three songs are oldies and I am not a big enough fan of the new one to be certain they can pull it off a Thirteen. Just playing the last album.
Also, when they have no new product to push they complete ignore us and now, suddenly, after peforming in the entire world twice, they throw us a bone… what is this shit???
Is it that with the exception of Phil and his buddy David Fricke, nobody else in the world could get a damn ticket?
Oh well, if you are one of the great unwashed, and didn’t get in, here is the setlist and as an added plus, some video from the show.
