In the spirit of the season rock nyc has decided for one post only to bury the hatchet with the loathsome Coldplay… I mean lovely Coldplay and find ten positive things about the wretched ponces.
1. It takes them years between albums which means two out of every three years we don’t hear a word from them.
2. Chris Martin has a nice hairdo
3. They don’t bother their support act by actually speaking to them.
4. Martin really wants to liked, he does try hard
5. Everytime they steal the lick off a famous song an angel gets its wings.
6. They haven’t had a line up change so far and this despite Martin’s rampant ego.
7. Gwyneth Paltrow is no Yoko Ono
8. If Bono and Chris Martin got stuck in a boat and the boat sank, who’d be saved? Yep, you can tell Chris Martin jokes and not even be worried about the punchline
9. “Hurts Like Heaven” and “Viva La Vida” are good songs.
10. Without Coldplay we’d have nothing to do when U2 go on three year vacations.
